Best and Worst First Date Stories

Met this girl on-line. She was hot. We met up for drinks. She had nothing upstairs so knew I wouldn’t ask her out again, but did I mention she was hot? Ran into an ex. Loved having her see me with this hottie …which is what made it a best. Payback is a b@*$#.

A friend set me up with a friend of a friend. He showed up 30 minutes late with no apology, he didn’t even offer to buy the glass of wine that I had ordered while waiting for him! He simply said, “while you close out your tab, I’ll check on a table.” I should have bolted right then and there, but instead subjected myself to listening to him talk about himself!

One the best dates I’ve ever had: guy picked me up in his convertible red Mercedes, stop #1 – drinks at the 4 Seasons; stop #2 – great Mexican place that I’d never been to in cabbage town; stop #3 – ice cream at a mom-and-pop kind of place, stop #4 – a park where we talked on the swings and he gave me an awesome kiss under the moonlight. Darn right outstanding!

Took this girl to dinner at my buddy’s spot. She complained the entire time about the menu and was rude to the waitress. I excused myself to the restroom and told my buddy I was really sorry. We made a plan. I never went back to the table. I just left her there and stiffed her with the bill.

Best first date was my first date with my now husband. I couldn’t believe that I met him on-line. I knew he was the one on our first date.

After a horrible blind-date, I called my friend to ask what she thought we had in common…in other words, why did she set us up. She said that we were both tall...and single. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

Was meeting this girl I met on-line for a drink. The next thing I knew this tall, sexy blonde was walking towards me. She smiled and went to shake my hand. It was MY date! She said that the picture she uses on-line wasn’t her. She didn’t feel comfortable posting her real picture because of work. BONUS! She was hotter that the picture she used.

Was having what I thought was a good date. Got up from the table to use the bathroom. When I was walking back to the table I saw my date hand her card to a guy who had walked over to our table. She knew that I saw it, but I couldn’t get it out of my mind. Couldn’t get dinner over with fast enough.

It started as a worst. I was waiting and waiting for my date to show up and he never did. Next thing I know the bartender brought me a drink. He said it was compliments of the guy at the end of the bar. I guess the bartender told him it looked like I was getting stood up. The next thing you know I did end up having a date …but with a different guy. It was so spontaneous and fun!

Picked out a hip new expensive restaurant to really wow this girl that I liked. Everything was good until the check came. I realized I forgot my wallet. The bill was around $200 and she had to pay for it. even though I mailed her a check the next day, she never returned my phone calls or text.

I met a woman online and after about a week of talking we decided to meet. I was very excited to meet her, but as soon as I picked her up it quickly felt like a huge mistake. So we go out to dinner and it seemed like she was a completely different person. I quickly picked up on a sense that nobody was good enough for her. The whole thing felt like I was in a job interview, while you know the person is just going through the motions and doesn’t really care. It didn’t last long, which I’m sure the feeling was mutual. On the way back I tried to send out every vibe I could of “don’t worry, I have no intentions of trying to you touch you” It is pretty sad actually because before that it really felt like we had something special.
